After vacationing on his private yacht in the Aegean Sea, martial arts expert turned movie star Chuck Norris dropped anchor off Kuşadası, a famous vacation destination in Aydın province.

He visited the House of the Virgin Mary, where he made the pilgrimage, and the ancient city of Ephesus in the neighboring province of Selçuk district of Izmir.
While strolling through the bazaar in Ephesus, Norris took souvenir photos with his fans and bought silver jewelry.
His vacation will continue for another two days on the Turkish coast.
Meanwhile, four cruise ships, the Malta-flagged Azamara and Celestyal Olimpia, the Panama-flagged MSC Lirica and the Bahamas-flagged Star Legent docked at the Aegean port of Kuşadası, bringing a total of 3,500 tourists.
Some of the passengers visited the ancient city of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary, while the others shopped in the city center.
The Costa Venezia, flying the Italian flag, was also due to arrive in Kuşadası on September 21.
More than 70 ships will arrive in Kuşadası by the end of September, while another 80 are expected in October, said Aziz Güngör, regional director for Eastern Mediterranean ports at Global Ports Holding.

The cruise season, which started in January this year, will last until December, he added.
“We managed to maintain cruise tourism in Kuşadası for 12 months. Our goal is not to let Kuşadası traders close their doors for the whole year,” he said.
Born in 1940, Carlos Ray “Chuck” Norris is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. After serving in the US Air Force, Norris won numerous martial arts championships and later founded his own discipline Chun Kuk Do.
Soon after, in Hollywood, Norris trained celebrities in martial arts, after which he became a popular action movie star.
