Chelsea fans will be rubbing their hands with Christopher Nkunku giving an electric start to RB Leipzig’s clash against Celtic.
Nkunku, who is believed to have undergone a medical ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge this summer, put the German side ahead of Celtic in the Champions League group game.
The 24-year-old striker latched onto a through ball before rounding Hoops goalkeeper Joe Hart and sliding it into the net with his left foot.
Nkunku thought he opened the scoring earlier with a delicious chip on Hart, however, a VAR review showed the Frenchman was just offside in the build-up.
He nearly went provider just before the break as his outrageous assist found Timo Werner, however, the former Chelsea man couldn’t get the ball past Hart.
