Hargitay and Meloni shared the screen of SVU‘s first episode until season 12, when Meloni left the show. He is now ready to return to Law and order universe in its own spin-off, which will be featured through a guest spot on Hargitay’s 2021 show.
Meloni’s apparition was to take place during the SVU premiere of the season, but, according to showrunner Warren Leight, plans have changed. Its spin-off, Law & Order: Organized crime doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but we know its SVU the return will coincide with the first episode of the new show. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
