Chris Hemsworth has an illustrious award-winning acting career, but there’s been a lot of mystery surrounding the whereabouts of one particular award.

The 39-year-old Thor actor’s 2005 Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor went missing when he was a dreamy soap opera star on Home and Beyond.

He later appeared at his friend Luke Zocchi’s house after making the strangest trip, Hemsworth told The Daily Telegraph on Thursday.

“So my Logie, it’s funny… I didn’t know where it was. my companion [personal trainer] Luke Zocchi was home,” the movie star said.

“It was at my parents in the toilets at one point. It was in the living room of another friend’s house, then it miraculously appeared recently.

He then revealed that the prize was now “in the toy box for the kids” and that his wife, actress Elsa Pataky, still didn’t understand what it was.

In 2005, Hemsworth also won the Most Popular New Male Talent award before winning the Most Popular Actor award again in 2006.

The awards honored her performance as Kim Hyde on Home and Away from 2004 to 2007, which led to her great career in Hollywood.

Most recently, Hemsworth received the Trailblazer Award at the 2022 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in Sydney on Wednesday night.

Hemsworth was beaming as he took the stage to receive his award from friend and fellow actor Russell Crowe, who he starred with in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Crowe, 58, who is the president of the Oscars, burst into pride as he watched Hemsworth deliver his acceptance speech from the side of the stage.

Speaking to red carpet host Angela Bishop ahead of the ceremony, Hemsworth explained how he felt after being told he would be receiving the Trailblazer Award.

This is the first time the Ghostbusters star has received an award from the organization, with his only nomination in 2020 for Global Star of the Decade.

The former soap opera star, who joins previous winners Simon Baker, Isla Fisher and Rose Byrne, said he didn’t take his start in the Australian screen industry for granted.
