Chris Hemsworth poses with rescued baby koala as he shines a spotlight on Australian wildlife rehabilitation efforts after devastating bushfires
The Hemsworth clan supported Australian wildlife charities following the devastating bush fires that ravaged the country between October and February.
And on Tuesday, Chris shared a very nice photo of him on Instagram where he got close to an orphaned baby koala.
In the picture, the 36-year-old man looked casual in a gray T-shirt and beamed as he nursed little joey as he gripped a plush koala.

“ Fantastic visit @friends_of_the_koala and see firsthand the incredible work and commitment to conserve koalas and preserve and improve their habitat, ” he wrote.
Friends of the Koala is a non-profit, volunteer-led community group focused on the rescue, rehabilitation and release of koala in the rivers of northern New South Wales.
It comes after his wife, Elsa Pataky, revealed a baby kangaroo that their family had saved in January.

Share a photo on Instagram Elsa was standing in front of a brick fireplace and cradled the joey in her arms.
“Save Joey.” So cute!!’ the 43-year-old actress and model captioned the picture.
The genetically blessed couple also supported the “Koala Return Campaign”.
Posing identical photos on their Instagram accounts posing with photographer David Yarrow, they encouraged followers to buy a powerful image he had taken of a koala that had survived a bushfire that had torn apart its habitat.
