Chris Eubank Jr will now face Antoli Muratov on Saturday night, live on talkSPORT, after initial opponent Sven Elbir tested positive for the coronavirus.
The early talent returns to the ring at Wembley SSE Arena, with a chance to win the WBA middleweight title.
Muratov is ranked seventh by the organization after losing just twice in his 27 fights, with 24 wins and 17 knockouts.
The 33-year-old has traveled extensively, having boxed away from home in Turkey, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary and the United States and his native Germany throughout his 27-fight career.
Eubank Jr is more excited than ever to fulfill his world title dreams after seeing close friend Anthony Joshua relinquish his own belts on Saturday.
‘AJ’ was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday and his close friend promised a show.
“Absolutely, I’m excited,” Eubank Jr said on Sky Sports.
“Obviously, Anthony Joshua is a friend of mine. I’m a little disappointed that he lost, but that’s part of the game. We’ve all been there.
“If anything, it makes me want to fight even harder. I know the feelings he’s feeling now.
“The first thing you want to do is get back in the ring and win. We’re gonna do a hell of a show.
