Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn shared a riveting first press conference in London on Thursday ahead of their upcoming fight.
The pair met for the first time and exchanged words on several occasions as they rekindled their fathers’ old family rivalry before October 8.

Eubank Jr and Benn had a lot to say to each other
Eubank Jr angered Benn by suggesting he wouldn’t be at his best in the fight due to weight restrictions.
The pair have agreed to meet at a catchweight of 157lbs with a rehydration clause meaning they will weigh in again on fight day, preventing the bigger man from getting as full a load as he would like. ideally.
Eubank Jr said that means he would only be ‘60%’ on fight night but insisted it was fair as the fight would be a ‘public execution’ if he was allowed to. be 100%.

“This is a fight where both of our last names are on the line,” he said.
“We must defend these names to the best of our abilities.
“That’s where it makes me personal.
“Nigel Benn shot his loss [to my father] to be avenged is Conor beating me, ‘My son beat his son.’ This will help him sleep better at night.
“I can’t let him sleep those overtime hours, I can’t do that to my old man. I have to respect the family name.
“I have to make sure the Eubank name stays above the Benn name.”
When they came face to face, the two men continued to talk about trash.
Benn told Eubank Jr, “It’s done you think you can walk through me, you know?”
To which Eubank Jr replied, “You have to be confident, huh?”
Benn laughed and added, “Delusional.”
