Chlöe Bailey continues to work to solidify her space in the music industry. This time, she comes in force with her own Pepsi ad.

“When I got the request from Pepsi, I was completely ecstatic and over the moon,” Chlöe said. PEOPLE. “I was like, ‘Wow, I had my pop star moment so early in my career.’ I’ve always dreamed of this moment since I was little. She also remembers seeing her mentor Beyoncé shine in a similar commercial in 2003 after the success of “Crazy in Love.” When You Saw Her Walk down to the Pepsi vending machine, the guy was so mesmerized. As previously reported by REVOLT, Chlöe is flattered by the comparisons to Beyoncé, who is also CEO and founder of Parkwood Entertainment, the label home to both the “Treat Me” singer and her sister Halle. “I’m grateful. That’s the biggest compliment,” Chlöe said in the previous interview. “We talk about everything and nothing. I’m so grateful to have his stamp of approval. She always gives me words of encouragement, you have no idea what that means to me.

Chlöe’s new Pepsi spot is inspired by the hit 1984 film Free from all ties and she thinks it could propel her into her lifelong dreams of one day stepping onto the Broadway stage. Accustomed to comedy, Chlöe’s first film role was actually alongside Beyoncé in the 2003 film The Temptations of Fighting where she played a younger version of the Bey character. She also plays Jas in Kenya Barris’ “Grown-ish”. Now, the “Have Mercy” crooner views the big commercial moment as an audition to make his vision of bringing his talents to the theater a reality. “I love to entertain, period,” Chlöe said. “My goal is to have an EGOT.”
