Stars have been accused of ‘bending the rules’ for jet overseas, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the country would enter a third lockdown.
Under the latest national lockdown rules, which are now in effect, vacations are banned as international travel is only allowed for a strict number of reasons such as work.
In the UK, national holidays are also banned because you must stay home at all times except for a limited number of ‘reasonable excuses’ such as buying essentials or working.
The government has said that if you need to travel you should stay local – that is, avoid traveling outside your village, town or part of town where you live – and seek to reduce the number of trips you take overall.
