Q&A from Chester FC supporters had to be cut short on Thursday evening as “invaders” hijacked the appeal online with pornographic images.
The X-rated material brought the Zoom meeting to a screeching halt to knock out members of the City Football Group, manager Anthony Johnson reduced to tears of laughter before he could even answer questions.
Chester FC fans’ Zoom appeal fell into chaos
Blues boss Johnson struggled to contain his laughter after the incident, which showed impostor “Lynn Davis” appeared topless onscreen.
The manager tweeted after, “Let me tell you something, the Handforth Parish Zoom reunion has absolutely nothing, and I mean NOTHING, about what I just saw on Chester FC Zoom. Unbelievable.”
City Fans United also posted on social media, writing: “Okay, so just to let you know that we ended the meeting earlier than planned, and we will bring you the questions and answers with Jonno at a later date. on a different platform!
“Thanks to those who were present for their patience and understanding as we tried to sort out the ‘invaders’.”
A statement has since been released by City Fans United who said: “Due to the offensive material that emerged at our Zoom meeting tonight, we were forced to close our meeting earlier than expected.
“City Fans United would like to apologize to anyone who was offended by the material that suddenly appeared on the meeting, and we deleted it as quickly as possible, but unfortunately repeated attempts meant we didn’t other alternative than to close the meeting.
“This was when Anthony Johnson was about to do a Q&A, so we’re going to put a separate article together to provide you with the answers he was going to give to your questions, in the very near future.
“Once again, my apologies for the events which were completely beyond our control tonight.”
It seems that this streaker took the CHESTer FC a bit too literally …
