With betting options open for one of horse racing’s biggest weeks, there’s value to be had at most races except Constitution Hill and the Champion Hurdle – where he should be the favorite justified.
Now there is a huge advantage for NRNBs for the Cheltenham Festival, especially with horses competing in multiple races.
Stage Star, for example, trained by Paul Nicholls, looks like a promising prospect this year after winning the Callow Hurdle in December 2021 and has now adapted extremely well to the fences.
Under Harry Cobden he is three for four in pursuit, mostly on and around 2m4f.
And unsurprisingly, he was entered into the Turners Novices’ Chase over that distance.
But there’s a chance he could be increased on the trip to 3m, which is why he holds a huge bet in the pursuit of Brown’s advisory novices.
