Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger never backs down from big talking points and he was at the center of controversy at Euro 2020 after appearing to bite Paul Pogba in the first half of Germany’s clash against the France.
With the Blues 1-0 and well in view of their lead, it was becoming tasty between some of the players on the field.
Rudiger, however, may have gone too far in a moment that was missed by VAR in Munich.
Struggling with Pogba on a throw-in, the German struggled with his opponent, who helped create the France open with an exquisite change of play.
As he waited for the ball to hit the pitch, Rudiger then moved his head closer to Premier League rivals before appearing to gnaw on Pogba’s back, causing a cry of pain.
The ace of France protested to the linesman about it, but play resumed shortly after, with Rudiger not even having the floor.
