Charlotte Crosby says she ‘can’t wait’ to marry fiancé Jake Ankers as they bring loved-up show to Australia… while she films Geordie Shore spin-off Down Under

Charlotte Crosby looked more loved-up than ever with her fiancé Jake Ankers in a new snap as they continued to soak up the sun in Australia.

The reality star, 33, is spending time in Cairns with businessman Jake and their daughter Alba Jean, 18 months, as she films for the Geordie Shore spin-off show.

She took to Instagram on Tuesday to give a glimpse of their whirlwind trip to the Netherlands by sharing a sweet photo of herself cuddling up to Jake.

Charlotte, who joined Aussie Shore after leaving Geordie Shore, looked stylish in a beige Pepper Girls Club co-ord set, comprising a crop top and maxi skirt.

She completed her chic look with a pair of brown sandals and flashed a huge smile as Jake wrapped his arms around her.

Jake cut a casual figure in a gray T-shirt and matching shorts, which he teamed with a pair of white sliders.

In an accompanying caption, Charlotte gushed about her affection for her fiancé as she admitted she “can’t wait” to marry him.

She wrote: “I can’t wait to marry you. I don’t know what I would do without you Jakey, my absolute rock!

“You have elevated my life and taught me more than you will ever know!” It’s not often that we think about taking photos of ourselves! So the one we got today, I LOVE IT.’

The couple, who have been dating for more than two years, got engaged in November after Jake popped the question during a romantic proposal on a rooftop in Dubai.

Charlotte recently confirmed she will be the “boss” of the new “wild” Australian cast – all of whom are in their 20s – in the highly anticipated spin-off series.

Speaking on Sydney’s Kyle and Jackie O radio show last week, she shared: “Well, look, I’m going to tell you because I know it won’t go any further, but it is hectic.

“The last week of my life, I have never experienced such madness. We’re filming Aussie Shore.

She confirmed a brand new Australian cast would debut on the new reality show, airing on Paramount+, and described them all as “wild”.

Charlotte recently confirmed that a Geordie Shore spin-off series, called Aussie Shore, was in the works and said she would be the “boss” of the new series’ “wild” Australian cast.

Charlotte teased: “The new generation is wild, they grew up on reality TV. They’re pushing boundaries you didn’t even know existed – I’m afraid for Australia!’

Aussie Shore won’t be Geordie Shore’s first spin-off show, as it also has a successful American equivalent, Jersey Shore.

Geordie Shore, which began in 2011, follows the lives of party stars in the UK and launched the careers of Charlotte and Vicky Pattison.

Charlotte rose to fame in the first series of the Newcastle-based MTV show in 2011, remaining until 2016 and then returning in 2022.

Last year she announced she had left the show after filming for the 2024 series went “terribly wrong”, but is now returning to the wider franchise for its Australian spin-off.

At the time of her departure, Charlotte said she couldn’t bear to watch the scenes after returning home from filming in Cyprus after just two days of filming.

She shared: “It ended up going horribly wrong. I don’t know why but the whole series, I later found out, was a bit weird. I didn’t expect it to happen like this, and for that reason I’m sad.

“I’m sad for lots of reasons. I’m sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, to a show that I loved so much that went so wrong.

Charlotte left the show during filming of the 24th series after arguing with Marnie Simpson over a high chair.

The two men have since unfollowed each other on social media and have reportedly not spoken to each other since things got heated.
