Charli D’Amelio teased her upcoming Billie Eilish Bond-themed ‘Dancing with the Stars’ routine [WATCH] – Golden Derby

“I hadn’t danced in quite a while, and I kind of stopped really liking it, and it was really hard for me because that was my life before,” admitted Charli D’Amelio on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” But competing on “Dancing with the Stars” rekindled the joy of performing for her. She is particularly excited about her next routine. For “James Bond Night”, she will perform for Billie Eilish“No time to die”, Oscar winner. Watch his interview with James Cordon above.

“I love Billie Eilish, and I’ve had her for so long,” D’Amelio said. “You can tell she makes music to dance to and that’s something I’ve always loved about her and her music. It really sets her apart for me. So now, “being able to dance to her song in the show makes me really happy.”

Eilish co-wrote “No Time to Die” with her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas. The song was released in early 2020 in anticipation of that Bond film’s release, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the film’s opening by over a year, so while she and Finneas won a Grammy for that in 2021, they didn’t win their Oscars until 2022.

D’Amelio didn’t have to wait to get her flowers, though. She and her pro partner Marc Ballas reigned “Dancing with the Stars” from the start, topping the judges’ chart in week one with their cha cha, and doing it again in week two with their quickstep. After two weeks, she’s the only celebrity yet to score below eight, so her previous dance experience is clearly paying off for her. Will it win him the Mirror Ball trophy?
