Channel 7 presenter Liz Cantor gives birth to daughter Sky and reveals she delivered the newborn from her womb during a mother-assisted caesarean section
Liz Cantor welcomed her third child, baby girl Sky Lysaught, on September 30 at Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
The Gold Coast Channel 7 presenter, 39, made the announcement on Saturday with a video of her two boys, Fin, four, and Kit, five, holding the newborn.
Cantor revealed to the Courier Mail on Thursday that her baby was born by mother-assisted caesarean section, where she pulled Sky out of her womb herself.

‘It happens very quickly. The obstetrician opens you up, your waters are broken, and basically immediately he got my hands and said, “I’m putting your hands in your uterus and you’ll feel her head,” she said.
“I thought it would be overwhelming, but once I felt her and had that physical contact, it was really soothing and very comforting.
“It was an incredibly special experience and I’m so lucky to have had it.”

Liz said she opted for the unusual procedure because the birth of her second child was so ‘traumatic’ and left her with severe ‘panic attacks’.
As the reporter gave birth to Fin, her uterus ruptured, causing unimaginable pain that left her with crippling panic attacks for months.
The episodes were triggered by bright lights and high-speed driving, with some resulting in temporary vision loss as she drove at 110 km/h.
Cantor told the Courier Mail on Thursday that her baby was born by mother-assisted caesarean section during which she herself pulled Sky out of her womb.
It was after this moment that she realized something was wrong and decided to seek help, believing she needed a brain scan.
Liz said it wasn’t until she spoke with her GP and psychologist that she made the connection.
The presenter was suffering from severe physical reactions to the trauma she had suffered in the birthing bed.

As the reporter gave birth to Fin, her uterus ruptured, causing unimaginable pain that left her with crippling panic attacks for months.
She admitted she was ‘quite anxious’ with Sky’s impending birth, but felt she had healed enough to deal with the need to have another child ‘in the best way possible’.
The journalist, who shares her three children with husband Ryan Lysaught, was thrilled with the experience of giving birth to her baby girl.
Liz said it was “nice, which is a crazy thing to say about the birth and the surgery”, before assuring that she is “grateful” and “excited for this next chapter”.
