The draw takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday, December 13. The ceremony begins at 12:00 p.m. CET, or 11:00 a.m. in the UK and Portugal.

Which teams are in the knockout stages of the Champions League?
The draw includes the 16 teams that have qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League; group winners are seeded and finalists are not seeded. Twelve teams have qualified so far:

Can teams from the same country compete in the knockout stages of the Champions League?
No team may play against another team from the same national association. Clubs also cannot play against opponents they have encountered in the group stage.
Do the knockout stages of the Champions League take place over two rounds?
The ties take place over two matches, with the seeds at home in the return matches.
When will we see the knockout stages of the Champions League?
The first leg matches are scheduled for February 15/16/22/23 and the return leg matches March 8/9/15/16. Kick-off is at 9:00 p.m. CET.
The draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will take place on Friday, March 18.
What changes are there this season?
The away goals rule has been abolished, so that the level of ties after 180 minutes will be extended, regardless of how many goals each team has scored at home and away. If the teams still can’t be separated after the extra 30 minutes, it goes to penalties.
Where is the 2022 final?
Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg will host the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League final, with the match scheduled for 28 May 2022.
