It’s an interesting subject, but there isn’t a single mention of her father being former Hollywood power player Ron Meyer and that she kicked this off when she was married to Toby Maguire. “I started my business without any prior experience in jewelry, nor in business for that matter! I hammered the curb, learned as I went, and I feel so lucky to have received the mentorship of truly remarkable people. She also talks about using social media as her primary sales tool, but a huge plus is that her famous friends (like Jennifer Aniston, who she covered an issue with The Hollywood Reporter with), Courteney Cox and Kate Hudson wore her rooms. since day one, before having accounts. Not to mention his connections with A-list stylists, who can connect you to opportunities in movies, magazines, and red carpet. It seems like every other day there’s a headline about James Van Der Beek and his big family moving to Texas – is there an HGTV show coming up behind that?
This is a baby announcement but I’m more focused on what Emma Roberts is wearing. The orange dress with the orange shoes – it works. It’s fresh and dressy and I like that the dress and the shoes don’t exactly match in tone. I think mixing shades of the same color (like turquoise on cobalt or plum on lavender) will be great for spring. Or maybe the spring of 2022, given the way things are going.
