Everyone has their favorite Thanksgiving food, even celebrities. Ree Drummond, Tori Spelling, Kelly Ripa and many more shared with fans their favorite food to eat while on vacation.
Some dishes are traditional and others are not what you expect.
Here’s a look at what some celebs have said over the years about their favorite dishes:
Drummond, known as The Pioneer Woman, has always shared her favorite Thanksgiving dishes.
She loves making Nantucket Cranberry Pie, Cornbread Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Homemade Cranberry Sauce to accompany her roast turkey.
Most Thanksgiving meals include some kind of green bean dish. The spelling serves its guests the vegetable with a twist.
“My bundles of green beans wrapped in bacon are a Thanksgiving staple,” Spelling said.
Ripa’s family aren’t too fond of turkeys after going through a Thanksgiving disaster a year ago. The family had a handful of unexpected guests and the oven turned off, leaving half the turkey raw.
Instead, Ripa makes different types of protein while on vacation.
“Joaquin is really big on the Pork Chop with Sage and Butter,” she said. “He likes it so much! My daughter is more like my people. We love mashed mashed potatoes, but we also love mashed sweet potatoes. We love anything that is pureed and carbs.
Cavallari has published several cookbooks, and his Thanksgiving Day dish is usually a mix of his favorite recipes.
“I’m going to do the prank that’s in the book [and] the gluten-free and dairy-free pecan pie, ”she told Us Weekly last year before the holidays. “I’m going to make the spicy devil’s eggs as an appetizer and I’m going to make the True Roots apple pie, the mashed butternut squash and then the crispy Brussels sprouts. So, a lot of stuff!
Alba really doesn’t have a particular favorite. She enjoys “cooking everything”, although she gave honorable mention to turkey, stuffing and candied yams.
“I love to cook everything! Alba said. “I love the turkey; I love the stuffing; I love the candied yams, I love everything!
Gyllenhaal’s favorite Thanksgiving dish isn’t very common, but seems to be lovingly prepared by his mother.
“My mom makes this crazy cucumber salad,” he told ExtraTV.
Hadid tends to focus on desserts during the holidays, calling herself “the pie girl.”
“I always bake Thanksgiving pies. I’m the pie girl, ”she told WWD. “I like rhubarb pie, I like apple pie, pumpkin pie and blackberry pie – but sometimes it mixes with rhubarb in one [pie]. “
“My dad makes really good stuffing and all the meat, and my mom is best for buttered carrots and cranberry Jell-O, or whatever you call it. Bella is making dessert. Anwar just ate and I bake pie, ”added the model.
