The Cowboys will officially lose two wide receivers Thursday afternoon.
CeeDee Lamb’s return to training on Wednesday raised hopes that he could be exempted from concussion protocol and play against the Raiders in the Cowboys annual home game for Thanksgiving. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reports that Lamb was unable to get the green light, however, and the Cowboys will have to play without him.
Amari Cooper remains in COVID-19 protocol, so the Cowboys will ride with Michael Gallup, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown and Malik Turner off.
While there is bad news at the receiver level, the Cowboys will recover much of their offensive line. Left tackle Tyron Smith is set to play after missing the last three games with an ankle injury.
