“Catastrophe”: The Rock hit by surprising claims – news.com.au

Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds reportedly got into an argument while filming the Netflix movie Red Notice, as The Rock’s behavior tested everyone on set.

Dwayne Johnson admits he once wanted to become a country star, his upcoming performance with Chris Janson and more!

TMZ reported today that Reynolds, 47, confronted Johnson, 51, about being late during production of the 2021 Netflix film because it was affecting their filming schedule, which was already complicated due to the pandemic of COVID-19.

We’re told the actors – who are “good” now – talked it out and there were no further problems between the two.

“There was no stomping on set…no loud arguing that wasn’t true,” a source said. Page sixadding that their disagreement is “water under the bridge”.

“They are professionals,” the insider adds, noting that the breakup happened “at the height of COVID” when “tensions were high.”

The delay was reportedly a problem for the WWE star on several sets.

A source told the Wrap that Johnson was “seven to eight” hours late every day while filming his upcoming action-adventure comedy film, Red.

The father of three reportedly “missed several full days of production, driving up costs by at least $50 million according to three insiders who insisted on anonymity for fear of being fired,” according to the Wrap.

“It was a fucking disaster,” a source told the outlet, adding that production crews were reportedly forced to film around the actor on days he wasn’t present.

However, an Amazon MGM Studios spokesperson denied the chronic delay allegations.

“Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on Red – a film that audiences of all ages will love this holiday season,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

“Our testing was very strong – the response from CinemaCon speaks for itself – and we couldn’t have done it without Dwayne’s constant work and support. Any reporting that implies we got to this point with him arriving seven to eight hours late to filming is both ridiculous and false.

Wrap sources also accused Johnson of urinating in water bottles during filming to save time — then making his assistants throw away the pee-filled containers.

Despite the source’s claims, two people close to the production on Red denied that the “Jumanji” star would have asked his staff to perform such a task.

“He would never ask another person to get rid of something like that,” one of the people told the outlet.

Johnson previously admitted to urinating in water bottles.

“I usually stay pretty hydrated. I often need to go to the toilet. Not a lot, but probably several times during each workout I have to go to the bathroom,” he told Esquire in 2021. “So I get the bottle out.

Page Six did not immediately receive a response from Johnson’s representative.
