Carrie Bickmore said some nasty words as she prepared for her upcoming half marathon.

The radio presenter, 43, shared a crude video on Instagram which documented her intense workout routine ahead of her challenging run along the Great Wall of China next month.

In the clip, Carrie swore repeatedly as she attempted to climb a flight of stairs in the Dandenong Ranges.

“I thought I should do a little more leaning. So I got to 1000 steps in the Dandenongs,” she says between breaths.

“I walked up the steps for a minute. Honestly, I’m dead. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I can not do it.

She continued: ‘[The stairs] just keep going, and going, and going. Oh my God.

‘Whore. Whore. Whore. There is still a lot to do. Much more.

The former project host continued to swear as she filmed herself going down the stairs.

“I’m going to be screwed,” she said.

In the end, Carrie finally celebrated her goal of completing this grueling task.

Last week, the blonde announced on her Instagram page that she would be running the iconic landmark and explained that she had been training for the tough marathon.

“I rule the Great Wall of China. A few months ago, I was feeling a little down and needed something to workout with, so I signed up to run (or crawl) along the Great Wall of China Half Marathon. (21KMS)’, she said.

“Time is running out and there are only 4 weeks left. Yes I am crazy. But sometimes you have to say yes first, then think about all the reasons why not to, once it’s too late to back out.

Carrie said she liked the idea of ​​“stepping out of your comfort zone” and was excited to run the marathon.

The mother-of-two explained that she uses Jorja Smith’s hit song Little Things as her exercise music.

“This song kept me going for 50 minutes straight,” Carrie said in the caption.

She added: “The longest [run] I’ve done it for a long, long time…new year, same slow runner.

Adding a second photo to the story, Carrie then offered some fitness tips.

‘Honestly, start with [a] 5 minutes [run]then 10, then 15…I could never run, but don’t worry about how slow you are,” she shared.
