Cardi B is calling out social media users who blamed PnB Rock’s baby mom Stephanie Sibounheuang for the rapper’s death.
The “Selfish” rapper was fatally shot Sept. 12 while he and Sibounheuang were at the popular restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Inglewood, California. Sibounheuang was initially scolded and blamed by many social media users who claimed that she arranged the murder of PnB by posting a whereabouts pin on her Instagram story.
A 17-year-old was arrested as the shooter on Wednesday, then later arrested, his father, Freddie Lee Trone, identified as the driver of the getaway. According to police, the father and son team were already in Roscoe’s parking lot when PnB Rock and his girlfriend arrived. This development has suppressed speculation that the criminals found the rapper’s location via his girlfriend’s Instagram post.
The Bronx rapper, who initially showed his support for the late rapper’s wife, chastised social media users for their harsh comments towards Sibounheuang.
“I told you… You don’t have to know how the hood moves…. You all owe this girl an apology for the shit you put her through knowing she saw her baby daddy die in the face…. Social Media Investigators YALL S***,” Cardi B wrote on Twitter.

Shortly after the murder, Cardi B called on people to show compassion for the woman, especially in light of the traumatic incident and because she has a child with PnB Rock.
“I highly doubt n**** was watching PMB’s IG babymom,” Cardi B wrote at the time on Instagram to push back against fans accusing Sibounheuang of being responsible or responsible for the rapper’s death.
I highly doubt Nikkas was watching PMB’s babymom IG. He was in a bad place and people stayed outside to plot. It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should send nothing but love to her and her family at this time.

Shortly after the rapper’s murder, many called out his partner for sharing their location while at the scene. Many have speculated that the rapper may have been interrogated on Instagram, with the criminals tracking his location and appearing.
Among those who criticized Sibounheuang were Kodak Black and Nicki Minaj for posting the location pin.
“After Pop Smoke, there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting pitches about our whereabouts,” Minaj said. “To show waffles and fried chicken???? ! It was such a pleasure to work with him. Condolences to his mother and family. It makes me so sick. Jesus,” she wrote on Twitter.

After being criticized, Nicki Minaj doubled down in another tweet. “Yeah. I’ll say what I want. As a RAPPER and as a MOTHER,” she wrote.
Kodak Black also adamantly blamed PnB’s baby mother for the murder. “May she as well kill herself,” the Florida rapper wrote on Instagram Stories.
Minaj or Kodak have not spoken since the arrest of Trone and his son.
