Candice Swanepoel shows off a toned physique as she returns to her ballerina roots in stunning images for the new Tropic of C range
Before becoming an internationally renowned model, she made her debut as a ballet dancer.
And Candice Swanepoel showcased her origins in a stunning new image series for her Tropic of C movement clothing line on Thursday and Friday, to announce a collection of “ dance-inspired partings. ”
The 32-year-old South African-born beauty shone in photos posted to Tropic of C’s Instagram account that flaunted her supple figure clad in sports bras and leggings, or shorts and leotards.

In a striking black and white snap, the highest paid model had her blonde hair in a dancer’s bun, as she sat on the floor in a crisscross cutout sports bra and black leggings with heel buckles.
Other shots showed the beauty in motion-filled kinetic poses, letting her hair flow freely as she danced in ballet slippers.
One image showed her in pointe, wearing a pink top, cropped black velvet shorts and see-through leggings.

In one particularly striking image, Swanepoel looked at the camera directly, through a mirror as she lay in all-black clothing.
“Dancing has always been part of my life. A silent poetry. It’s a way for my body and mind to connect in free space and move my heart, ”Candice wrote in one of the captions to present the collection, titled Movement.

In the past, Candice has shared how studying ballet helped her become a model.
She told Marie Claire in 2014: “I studied ballet when I was growing up. It has helped me a lot with modeling because I think about all parts of my body from fingers to toes.
The statuesque beauty also said that if she hadn’t been spotted in a Durban market to be a model at 15, she likely would have gone on to study ballet.
