Classical singer Camilla Kerslake and former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw have revealed they’ve named their newborn son Wilding.
The couple welcomed the baby boy’s birth last month.
In an interview with Hello! magazine, the couple said their son was named after suffragist Emily Wilding Davison.

Camilla, 32, said: “She was strong and courageous, and she thought of others above herself, and those are all qualities that we would like Wilding to have.”
She added that the name “sounds a bit Californian and a bit like an English poet”.
Chris, 35, said the birth “was more emotional than we could ever have imagined”.
He added: “I’m so proud of Camilla. What a female body can do, what it can create, it’s really amazing.

“She was an absolute warrior at doing this without any pain medication.
“I have never had more respect and pride for her.”
The couple recently moved to the United States after Robshaw signed for the San Diego Legion Major League Rugby.
Kerslake and Robshaw tied the knot in a humanist ceremony in Provence, France, in front of 50 guests in 2018.
Soprano Kerslake wore a dress designed by Jenny Packham for the big day.

The couple took to Instagram last month to announce the birth of their son.
The stars posted identical black and white buttons of their hands forming a heart shape around their newborn son’s feet – with Camilla writing, “Welcome to the world, little man. We are so, so in love with you.
Chris posted: ‘Welcome to the world, little man.
‘I’m so proud of @camillakerslake who was an absolute warrior all along. We couldn’t be happier and more in love with our little one.
The couple announced that they will become parents in February.
They tied the knot in June 2018 after a three-year engagement and revealed the baby was due in late May, but did not disclose the gender at the time.

Talk to Hello! magazine, Camilla and Chris said they started trying for a child as their respective work commitments slowed down during the pandemic.
Camilla told the publication, “The lockdown is the reason we decided to get pregnant. It seemed like a productive use of my time. I don’t need to take a career break because it’s not like I’m refusing to work.
Chris added, “We’re really excited for this next chapter – there’s a lot of excitement coming. Camilla will be a fantastic mom – she’s really good with kids.
In response, Camilla was enthusiastic: “Chris is going to be a good father. He’s always on the move. He always wants to run everywhere.
The British couple moved to the United States this year, but instead of a planned move to San Diego, California, where Chris signed with the Major League Rugby team San Diego Legion, they were based in Las Vegas.
They moved to Sin City because his team temporarily set up camp there for six months, due to the prevalence of COVID-19 in southern California.

Referring to the unexpected birthplace of their baby, Chris said, “I think it would be cool if the baby’s birth certificate read, ‘Born in Las Vegas. “
The couple said they would take inspiration from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are also raising a child in the United States after stepping down from their roles as royals.
They met Rugby Football League boss Harry on several occasions with Chris praising the royal.
Speaking about his former team, he said: “Harry is a great guy, he’s always been a great support. On his last visit to the Harlequins, I gave him a rugby top for Archie.
“I hope they continue to do well in America. We will have to invite him and his family to visit us in San Diego.
Camilla added: “I love them. Meghan is beautiful and smart and I love the fact that she fought for causes that were close to her heart before she became royal, and how they created their charitable foundation.

It was love at first sight for the couple as Camilla shared how Chris called for her number within two minutes of meeting her at a rugby event where she was singing.
