Cameron Boyce Descendants The director pays tribute to the late actor on social networks, recalling his “immeasurable talent” as well as “his kindness and generosity”. Boyce died Saturday after an ongoing health issue. He was 20 years old.
“My love, light and prayers go out to Cameron and his family,” director Kenny Ortega shared on Instagram Saturday evening. “Cameron brought with him love, laughter and compassion every day I was in his presence. His talent, immeasurable. His overflowing kindness and generosity. It was an honor and an indescribable pleasure to know him and work with him. I will see you again in all things loving and beautiful my friend. I will seek your light in the stars. Rest in peace Cam. You will always be my Forever Boy! »

Boyce played Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil, in all three Descendants movies. His other credits on Disney Channel include Jessie from 2011 to 2015, as well as as a guest in Liv and Maddie, BUNK’D And Austin and Ally.
“It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we announce that this morning we lost Cameron,” a spokesperson for the Boyce family said in a statement. “He died in his sleep following a seizure resulting from an ongoing health problem for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly deprived of one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are heartbroken and ask for privacy during this extremely difficult time as we mourn the loss of our precious son and brother.
