Callum Hudson-Odoi marked his Nottingham Forest debut with a splendid goal – and it led to a collective sigh from Chelsea fans.
The England international joined Forest on deadline day, ending a stay at Stamford Bridge that initially promised so much.
And in his first appearance for his new club, Hudson-Odoi scored a delicious curling shot from the left to level the scores against Burnley after Zeki Amdouni had broken the deadlock.
Forest’s pleasure at Hudson-Odoi is Chelsea’s pain as Blues fans wondered how it all went wrong for him in west London.
“We should buy this Hudson-Odoi,” joked one Chelsea fan.
“What a goal Hudson Odoi. Why couldn’t you do that in a Chelsea shirt?!” » another added.
“So Hudson Odoi scored before Mudryk. Who cursed us?” said this fan.
“Hudson ODOI is better than Mykhialo Mudryk [fire emojis]. What a goal, Mannn!” said another.
“Hudson Odoi just scored a goal on his debut for Nottingham Forest and we sold him for 5 million. Top business, Chelsea board!” » added this fan.
