According to reports, a California bar owner has been arrested after allegedly selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards.
Undercover agents from the California Liquor Control Department bought fake cards for $ 20 each from the owner while visiting the Old Corner Saloon in Clements, Calif. According to AP, officers noted that they were asked to write their names on a sticky note, which led them to watch employees create the fake vaccination cards and laminate them.
Supervisor Luke Blehm said: “On the back where they put the two vaccination dates, they used two different colored pens to make it look like two different times. They have therefore strived to give it an authentic appearance. “
Todd Anderson, the owner of the bar, was arrested last Tuesday and charged with identity theft, tampering with medical records, loading an unregistered handgun and forging government documents. Stay tuned for more news.
