Bugatti Centodieci customer’s car appears in traffic

The first of a total of ten Bugatti Centodieci supercars was delivered to its new owner earlier this year. After a long and complicated process of testing, preparations and assembly, one of the automotive industry’s most expensive and powerful products is now on the roads of Europe. And we mean that literally – this particular car was recently caught on camera in traffic.

Youtuber 912fordgt was in the right place at the right time to film the first Centodieci client. The description of the video does not include information on where the supercar was shot down, but we did a little investigation and concluded that the video was from Croatia. As far as we know, just recently the Supercar Owners Club met in Zagreb and Bugatti was probably taking part in the event.

The Centodieci was launched as a tribute to the Bugatti EB110 and the first example delivered to a customer was finished in the same blue color as the EB110. This is a very traditional color combination for the French company and the Centodieci owner also has an EB110 GT finished in the same shades. The automaker intends to assemble only 10 examples of the Centodieci and all of them have already been announced. The Chiron-based supercar costs at least $8.8 million.

Speaking of Chiron, the Centodieci isn’t just a reincarnated version of Molsheim’s model. It weighs about 44 pounds (20 kilograms) less, has a different suspension, and a more aggressive and efficient aero package. Beneath the sleek skin is Bugatti’s 8.0-liter W16 engine with a maximum output of 1,600 horsepower (1,176 kilowatts). Acceleration from 0 to 62 miles per hour (0 to 100 kilometers per hour) takes just 2.4 seconds.

We are very happy to see such a rare and exotic supercar rolling around. We know the owner of the first Centodieci won’t take it to the track very often, but at least he’s not the kind of collector who only keeps his precious car inside a garage.
