Bryce Ruthven, Married ‘villain’ at first sight, has the final say as his podcast with TV wife Melissa Rawson tops the charts after hours
The at first sight married couple Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson released the first episode of their 10-part series on Tuesday.
And just hours after the release of What Happens After …, Bryce seems to have the final say on one of their predictions on the Australian podcast charts.
“ The response has been amazing, we can’t believe how much interest and hype is generated by our podcast, ” the 32-year-old told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.

“There has been a lot of talk in the media about whether there would be interest in the podcast,” Bryce continued.
“I guess we have to thank them all for helping spread the word about this.
Bryce went on to say that he and Melissa were eager to release more episodes that show what their relationship really looks like in the real world.
“I have a little voice in return. The podcast is a really good overview of who we are as a couple.

Honest: Speaking on the new podcast, Melissa, also 32, admitted receiving death threats on Instagram made her reconsider having a child.
On the new podcast, Melissa discusses the dark side of social media.
“ We live in a very different world than the one I grew up in when I was in my early teens, ” the 32-year-old said.
“ Social media wasn’t that big then, but now it’s a whole different environment. ”

Bryce then revealed that he and Melissa had previously had conversations about their concerns about raising a child in the Instagram age.
“ I’m terrified and it’s been such a concern because I’ve been through what it’s like to be hassled, bullied.
“ The death threats we’ve received online … I won’t even begin to point out how disgusting it is, ” she continued.

“ Bringing a child into the world, giving them access to social media from an early age … I couldn’t imagine that a child had to deal with comments this disgusting, hurtful, intimidating and shameful.
“ I am so terrified to think that if we were to ever have children, I would just like to protect them. ”
Despite Melissa’s sheer terror of online trolls, Bryce said the majority of the comments he received on his Instagram page were positive.
“ 80% of the people are actually very nice and sympathetic and can see through everything that has happened on the show, ” he said.
Melissa recently revealed that she took a social media hiatus to take care of her mental health.
“ I’m terrified and it’s been such a concern because I’ve been through what it’s like to be harassed, intimidated, ” she said.
