Britney Spears posted a fully nude selfie to her Instagram account, stating in the post: “The energy of the free woman has never felt better.”
The 40-year-old pop star shared the image – which shows her taking a photo while posing in the mirror – to her 38 million Instagram followers on Thursday.
In it, the singer can be seen wearing a choker and thigh-high white stockings with little else.
To cover up her modesty and stay within the guidelines of the Instagram community, Britney used a pink flower and pink heart emoji to obscure parts of her naked body.

This is not the first time Britney has shown half-nude portraits of herself, having previously gone topless on several other occasions over the past few months.
The Toxic singer’s social media content has grown increasingly bold since a judge ended her 13-year-old guardianship, which saw her life micro-managed by Father Jamie Spears.
