Britney Spears has been spending some much-needed time in nature amid her feud with sister Jamie Lynn Spears over her new memoir.
The 40-year-old former pop star took to Instagram to celebrate her annual visit to see a historic fig tree in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Recently, the Spears sisters harassed each other on social media, with Britney calling Jamie Lynn a “scum” and accusing her of making up stories in order to sell her new book.

Britney’s latest Instagram, however, took a much lighter tone and showed the mother-of-two posing by the Moreton Bay fig tree in the entrance to the Fairmont Miramar.
Spears captioned her fun post: “Yes, that’s me… the idiot in a tree at 9:00 at night!!!! I go to visit this tree every year with my kids but now they’re too cool for me! !!!
Adding: “Check out the roots on this baby… I love trees!!!!”
In her first snap, a carefree Britney smiled broadly in sweatpants and a long-sleeved shirt with her arms in the air.
