Englishman Andy Sullivan claimed his first victory on the European Tour since 2015 with a victory in the English Championship.
The 2016 Ryder Cup player led by five shots before the final round only to see his lead reduced to three on the turn by Spaniard Adrian Otaegui.
But Sullivan, 34, then recorded four birdies of the last nine to finish 27 under the overall standings, seven shots away from Otaegui, at Hanbury Manor in Ware.
Dane Rasmus Hoejgaard finished third with 19 under.
This is Sullivan’s first victory on the European Tour since 2015, the year of his three previous successes, with his previous victory at the Portugal Masters that year.
His form in 2015 saw him finish in the European top 10 and make his debut in the 2016 Ryder Cup, which the United States won at Hazeltine.
