Brian Austin Green opened up about learning to “pick your battles” as a co-parent during a new interview with E! News.

The 50-year-old actor, who shares Noah, 11, Bodhi, ten, and Journey, seven, with ex-wife Megan Fox, insisted he has always made his children his priority. number one” in life.

Green went on to state that separated parents should prioritize their children’s well-being despite the end of their romantic relationship.

He said: “You can’t expect to get along after the fact when it comes to raising your children. So you have to decide, “Okay, it’s not about us getting along anymore. This is about us co-parenting, which is a totally different situation. »

The artist also admitted that separation inevitably takes its toll on children and that parents should handle their separation with caution.

Green and Fox began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of the sitcom Hope & Faith.
