Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie ‘welcomes new baby with wife Sarah’ – days after announcing band disbandment at end of current tour
Panic! The Disco frontman Brendon Urie and his wife of nearly 10 years, Sarah, have “welcomed their first child”, reports TMZ – just days after the band was announced to be ending after 19 years.
Urie and her longtime partner, both 35, reportedly welcomed their new baby – whose name and gender have not yet been revealed – earlier this week.
The news comes amid Urie’s January 24 announcement that the band will be disbanding at the end of their current tour.
In a personal statement shared on his social media, Urie said he explained it was time “to bring this chapter of [his] life until the end” to focus on his family.
“The prospect of being a father and seeing my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting,” he wrote ahead of the birth of their child. “I look forward to this next adventure.”

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for comment.
Originally formed in 2004, the pop punk band was created by Urie and his childhood friends – Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brent Wilson.
The group released four albums together as a group.
Over the years, Urie became the sole remaining member of Panic! At the disco.
Late last month, he took to social media to announce he would be leaving the band after two decades and that he and his wife were expecting a baby.
“…sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin,” he said in the statement.
“We tried to keep that to ourselves, although some of you have hearts,” he continued. ‘Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon!’
“Thank you all for your immense support over the years,” he wrote to his fans. “Whether you’ve been here from the start or just new to us, it’s been a pleasure not only to share the stage with so many talented people, but also to share our time with you.”
“I can’t wait to see everyone in Europe and the UK for one last run together,” he added.
