Brad Pitt reunites with Sandra Bullock for Lost city of D, Paramount’s romantic action-adventure comedy that also stars Channing Tatum.
The move is actually a friendly counterpart as it follows Bullock making an appearance in Pitt’s action flick. High-speed train, which recently wrapped up production with director David Leitch filming for Sony. When Bullock, who produces and plays in re, saw an opportunity for a fun casting, she reached out to her boyfriend, who said yes.
Adam and Aaron Nee direct re, which is described as an old-school star vehicle as well as a villainous ball adventure with mismatched tracks, witty breakdown, and, of course, romance.
By the studio, the story centers on a lonely novelist who is sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model. That is, until a kidnapping attempt takes them both on a ferocious adventure in the jungle, proving that life can be so much stranger and more romantic than any of his pocket-sized fictions.
Bullock is the author while Tatum is the model. The role of Pitt is hidden in the ruins of the temple, but it is said to be a cameo.
Patti Harrison, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Daniel Radcliffe are also on the poster.
An early summer shoot in the Dominican Republic is planned.
Dana Fox wrote the most recent version of the script. Bullock produces through his banner, Fortis Films, with Liza Chasin and his 3dot Productions, as well as Seth Gordon through his shingle, Exhibit A.
Pitt, who last year won an Oscar for his work in Once upon a time in hollywood, is taken over by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment.
