Los Angeles police said no arrests had been made.

The event reported a marked difference from the protests a week ago that were marred by chaos and looting.

National Guard units that were brought in to help secure the buildings were released and the city and county stopped imposing curfews.

The LAPD, which has been criticized for the mass arrests of protesters, said the city would not pursue criminal or financial sanctions against those arrested.
