Mumbai: Hollywood star Brad Pitt thought he was crying about time flying by as he called his daughter Zahara smart.
The ‘Bullet Train’ actor made the admission after also opening up about his daughter Shiloh, in a rare move to talk about the children he shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, from whom he separated a while ago. six years, reports aceshowbiz.com.
“I’m so proud of her. She’s so smart. She’s going to blossom even more in college,” he told Vanity Fair of 17-year-old Zahara.
The actor, who split from Jolie, 47, in 2016, added, “It’s an exciting and beautiful time to find your own path and pursue your interests. I’m so proud.”
“Where does the time go, right? They grow up too fast. It brings tears to your eyes,” he added.
It comes after he told Entertainment Tonight that 16-year-old Shiloh is so “beautiful” it lifts his spirits.
He said his dancing was so good “it brings tears to my eyes, yeah”.
The “Fight Club” star has three biological children with Jolie, Shiloh and 13-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, as well as three adopted children, Maddox, 20, Pax and Zahara, 18.
Jolie said Zahara has landed a spot at the historically black women’s liberal arts college and will be moving to Atlanta, Georgia in the coming months.
The ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ actress shared a photo of her daughter and some of her classmates, some of whom were wearing Spelman shirts, and wrote on Instagram, “Zahara with her Spelman sisters! The couple’s eldest son, Maddox, studied at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, although his classes were moved online and he returned to the United States during the Covid pandemic.
Their second son, Pax, graduated last summer but is not believed to have taken up a place at college.
