Q: Tell us about Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. What makes them ideal productivity devices?
PE: When we designed the latest foldables, we wanted to make sure they offered maximum value on multiple fronts, both personal and professional. The Galaxy Z Fold4’s standout feature is its foldable display that stands on its own so users can video conferencing hands-free or take notes with the optional S Pen.[1]. When unfolded, users benefit from a large 7.6-inch screen, allowing them to view a spreadsheet, contract or creative mockup in greater detail. Finally, the multi-active window with taskbar function allows users to quickly launch up to three applications, side-by-side, and drag and drop content from one window to another, allowing a user to work more easily remotely from their mobile device.
With the Galaxy Z Flip4, we really got into the idea that work doesn’t stop when you’re away from the desk. The informative cover screen offers compact connectivity, allowing professionals to answer or make calls, view notifications and respond to texts even when the phone is closed. Workers can also use Flex mode[2] on their Galaxy Flip4 to flex the phone, put it down, and conduct hands-free conference calls from virtually anywhere.
Q: How do the latest Galaxy foldable devices help employees perform tasks and work with apps that are traditionally accessed on a laptop?
PE: The latest Galaxy foldables are optimized to support Microsoft Office, making it easy to create and edit documents on the go without having to turn on a laptop. Our optimized Office experience means popular Office apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint can be used the same way they would be on a laptop. This means that everyone has access to important files, regardless of their location. We know work isn’t confined to a desk anymore, so Microsoft integration ensures always-on access to OneDrive and Teams, whether you’re in the office, working from home, or in between meetings.
If professionals find themselves in a situation where a laptop is needed, we have found a solution just for that. Samsung DeX on the Galaxy Z Fold4 lets them connect their device wirelessly to a monitor or TV, pair a keyboard and mouse, and work in an intuitive PC-like environment. Whether finalizing a sales contract or presenting a pitch to clients, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and DeX offer professionals the convenience and familiarity of a desktop-like experience.
Q: What would you say to employers who aren’t comfortable with so much work done from a smartphone?
PE: Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 both come with built-in defense-grade security that helps protect work and personal data stored on the device from the chip. This feature is called Knox Security, and when combined with Knox Vault, which protects passwords and biometric information, it helps ensure the security of sensitive data.
Device durability is another important consideration for companies with employees working remotely. Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 both have built-in water and scratch resistance[3], so no matter what a person’s workday is, their devices can be used with confidence. Q: With everything being remote controlled these days, why is it important for professionals to carry devices that work together?

Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 sync effortlessly with the Galaxy Book series of laptops so workers can share files on their PC with just a few clicks. When the Galaxy Z Flip4 or Fold4 and the laptop are paired with the new Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the automatic switching function is activated so that your audio source automatically switches from your phone to the laptop, or vice versa, if you you move between a phone or video call. There’s not much you can’t accomplish when all your Galaxy devices work together.
