Much-loved Scotland left-back Aaron Hickey has finally completed his move to Bologna – and they announced the move with the help of a bizarre video.
The teenager Hickey has been linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs last month – including German giants Bayern Munich – before moving to Italy with Me Rossoblu.
Bologna is believed to have paid around £ 1.5million for Hickey, who played 30 times for Hearts last season and scored his first senior goal as the winner of the Edinburgh derby against Hibs.
And to announce Hickey’s move to Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, Bologna created a video apparently comparing the teenager to the Loch Ness Monster!
After a few sprawling scenes from the Scottish countryside, the video then shows a toy dinosaur head – clearly believed to be Nessie – cropped above some footage of the loch.

Hickey then takes the toy, cradles it under his arm and says to the camera, “Believe me, I’m real.”
You understand? Yes, me neither …
On top of all of that, the video is black and white for some reason, and contains Celtic folk music like the soundtrack.
Bologna followed up on their video announcement with a more formal “Welcome Aaron” message – but the only thing people were talking about was the bizarre movie.
