Could you break the takedown record in a fight (21)?
“I think I could do it in one lap if I wanted to. It’s just not super practical and they won’t escape me. I remember watching the fight where Khabib took the guy down 21 times and he took him down, got up, knocked him down, got up, knocked him down so many times. With me, there’s no way a guy will stand up even after I knock him down once.
Could you fight twice in one night?
“Oh yeah. I wish. That would be so much fun. Obviously that will never happen, but I would love to be double booked. Triple book me even – three fights in one night would be ideal. I’m used to ‘have three or four matches a day. Line them up and I’ll just run through them.

Winning an open weight folkstyle tournament against the entire UFC roster?
Yeah. It would be easy. There is no one, even the heavyweights. They can’t handle what I have. My toughest competition in a wrestling sense will be my teammates when they start winning fights and getting into the UFC themselves. These will be the only ones comparable to what I do.
Could you weigh in an hour before a fight and defeat a fighter weighing in 24 hours in advance?
I, for sure, could win that. I have a great team with me at Treigning Lab with Sam Calavitta. I have worked with him for a long time. We have a truly professional approach to weight reduction, rehydration and everything we do. It is very scientific and systematic. It wouldn’t be a problem at all. At the end of the day, these guys don’t even know how to lose weight anyway. They have no idea what they’re doing, so I don’t really think it would really be an advantage for them.
Clearly, confidence isn’t an issue, but if we were to see even one of those feats come to fruition, we might be looking at one of the most impressive fighters in the middleweight division.
