Besides being a formidable baseball player, Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette proved in an interview with ESPN’s Karl Ravech that he can sing a bit too.
In a virtual session, Ravech spoke about the 23-year-old’s interest in singing and songwriting, which strangely led him to ask Bichette to sing a bit for the show.
We learned two things from Bichette’s response. First, the baseball player is not a bad singer, and second, Ravech doesn’t listen to a lot of new music these days.
Bichette sang a few lines from Justin Bieber’s last song “Peaches”, but Ravech unconsciously and awkwardly thought it was an original Bichette song.
If I was in Bichette’s situation, I would have just taken credit for it.
Although he sang hits, Bichette had none of his own on the Blue Jays’ opening day, a 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees.
