BMW and the Kiths team up – again. You may remember back in 2020 when the two companies teamed up on an M4 Competition project that bore the hallmark of this fashion label. Now the duo are going electric with their latest release and giving the BMW i4 M50 a fashionable makeover.
Kith founder and designer Ronnie Fieg envisioned the look for this latest BMW collaboration. The exterior sports a custom Vitality Green paint job while a “KITH” wordmark on the rear bumper blends in with the i4’s traditional M badging. And if you look closely, there’s even a tint of Kith Vitality Green in the round hood logo.
The leather inside is BMW Individual Merino finished in Light Caramel. Kith embossing lines the center console and headrests, while the cupholder cover and passenger side dash both feature “Kith Exclusive Edition” laser etched into the materials.
The collaboration also includes a custom, one-of-a-kind 1972 BMW 1602 “Elektro” converted to battery power by Fieg. This one-of-a-kind electric vehicle pays homage to the two electric 1602s that made their debut at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
You won’t be able to get your hands on this classic, unfortunately, but Kith’s BMW i4 M50 will be available for a very limited number. BMW and Kith are only producing seven examples of the custom i4 globally at an undisclosed price, with the first going up for auction.
But if you still want to represent the BMW and Kith partnership, there is a more affordable way. The apparel brand will begin selling a 51-piece collection featuring clothing, accessories and more branded by both companies with accents of Kith Vitality Green.
