The Infinity Stones have been the main thorns on the sides of various Marvel characters from almost the start. These rainbow colored gems, when taken all together, have wiped out only half of life in the universe.
Now they’re being debated on fan forums, the key question being which one is more important: Space Stone or Mind Stone? Meanwhile, more casual fans may ask, which one is which? The debate, one of which is most important in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is heated.
What are all Infinity Stones?
The first Infinity Stone we saw is better known by another name: the Tesseract. It’s the bright blue cube that caused so many problems The Avengers.
However, the Tesseract is the box. What gives it its power is the blue space stone, which allows the person who holds it to transport it wherever it pleases. It’s basically a teleportation. It’s also what gave Captain Marvel his powers.
The other key stone is the mental stone. He’s yellow and that’s what fueled Loki’s scepter, which allowed him to control Hawkeye. Later, that’s what gives Vision his powers, and he dies after Thanos stole it to complete his collection.
The other stones are Reality Stone (red), which gave Scarlet Witch its powers, Power Stone (purple), Time Stone (green) and Soul Stone (orange). It was the last that led to the deaths of Gamora and Black Widow. On a Reddit forum, however, the key stones are considered the space stone and the spirit stone.
The case of the space stone

The forum listed heroes who got their powers from the stones, including Captain Marvel, Vision and Scarlet Witch already mentioned. The short-lived Quicksilver from Age of Ultron is also part of the group.
However, the conversation quickly turned into a debate on the stone of the spirit against space. One fan noted: “The Mind Stone gave people three powers and was the last Stone Thanos got, but the Space Stone was in a lot of movies and was the weapon Loki used in his assault on Earth.”
But a fan replied that the space stone was more important in the series because it was linked to so many subplots. Red Skull experienced it in Captain America: the first avenger, just like Howard Stark.
Thanos sent Loki to Earth to get it, it gave Carol Danvers his powers, and it was in Odin’s trunk. And even if Thanos was defeated, we still haven’t finished with the stones because Loki stole the space stone in End of Game, and it will probably be the basis of his Disney + show.
And another fan cracked the space stone in more movies than Hawkeye. It may or may not be true, but maybe Hawk Eye the series will equalize things.
Maybe Mind Stone is the best? Or another stone?
On the other hand, fans have pointed out that the spirit stone was Loki’s weapon that had the best of Hawkeye. Another fan said, “One of the Avengers’ lives literally depended on the spirit stone, and the whole epic battle of Wakanda was fought to protect this stone, I’m going to go with the spirit stone.”
But the Time Stone also had its boosters, with a fan arguing for the Time Stone because it was Doctor Strange’s “whole arc”, and that was especially important in determining how to defeat Thanos. Another fan said: “Pierre de temps, that’s for sure. The only stone that was the catalyst to save half of the universe. “
It seems like choosing the most important Infinity stone is like asking a parent to choose their favorite child. But while a parent would say they love all of their children equally, a Marvel fan would say that all stones are equally important because Thanos had to have them all to run the snap. So the best answer is probably “all of the above”.
