Introducing Dwayne Johnson’s godlike anti-hero Black Adam to DC worlds – a playground for Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman – the upcoming blockbuster sets it on a collision course with the never-before-seen Justice Society.
For the Special effects Halloween Horror Special, available at the stands of Wednesday (October 5)the film’s producer, Beau Flynn, explained how its storyline is similar to the Marvel sequel.

“I think it’s a really interesting setup to see the Justice Society coming together to try and stop Black Adam.
“There’s a bit of that in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because of Scarlet Witch, but I just think it’s such an interesting call to action to see the Justice Society having to come together – they haven’t been together for a while, and they have to try to apprehend one of the world’s most powerful superheroes,” Flynn said.
As alluded to, Multiverse of Madness is dominated by an ongoing battle against Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, who will stop at nothing to reunite with her sons Billy and Tommy.
She even wipes out a surprise hero squad known as the Illuminati in her quest.
