Rare Beasts is written and directed by Billie and produced by Vaughan Sivell.
Billie was four months pregnant with her third child Tallulah when she worked on the film, but told Baz Bamigboye that she was not discouraged.

“When people are rejected, they do horrible things and behave in a bestial way. We can be terrible as human beings, and it can often be both terrible and quite funny.
Since filming Rare Beasts, Billie has appeared on the I Hate Suzy TV series and has been announced as joining the cast of Lena Dunham’s film, Catherine, Called Birdy.

The singer and actress, 38, is said to star alongside Andrew Scott of Fleabag, 44, and Bella Ramsey, 17, of Game Of Thrones, in medieval comedy, Variety reports.
The publication reports that Bella is set to play Catherine in the coming-of-age story set in 13th-century England, based on the 1994 novel by Karen Cushman, while Billie will play her mother in the ‘screen.
The film, which will be directed by Working Title and Amazon, was first announced by Lena, 34, in 2014 and is still in the “ early stages of production. ”
He follows Catherine, 14, who “ goes against convention ” and refuses arranged marriages that her father, played by Andrew, queues for her.
