“Chihiro” also features on the album, which Eilish teased in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe earlier this month. “Today, maybe tomorrow/Open the door for me/I know you said it before/You can’t face it anymore,” she sings on the track, which borrows its title from the character lead from the beloved Studio Ghibli film, Taken away as if by magic.

“Every time you release something, you feel like your nudes are leaking a little bit,” the nine-time Grammy winner said of the upcoming album. “I think this one is specifically like that. Something that Finneas and I said to a few people when we started playing it for people was that we kind of made the album like someone said, “I want you to make a album and no one will hear it. You don’t have to worry about ears, opinions or anything at all. It’s in your contract to make an album but no one can hear it. We almost made this album. We made this album without thinking too much about the others.
