At just twenty years old, Billie Eilish took the music industry by storm.
She’s been writing and creating her own music since she was incredibly young and shot to fame with the huge hit album When we fall asleep, where do we go? which was released in March 2019.
She is known to be a bit eccentric character…
Billie was homeschooled so she didn’t get a chance to interact with other people her age outside of her siblings until she started making waves on the stage. music, which gave him a unique vision of the world.
This is reflected in his art.
Many are quite shocked that such a young person could create such a bewitching eye-catching tunes – and lyrics so suggestive.
His first album, When we all fall asleep, where do we go?ranked number 1 on the charts.
Most artists have to release a few albums and devote their lives to promoting their work before they even gain recognition as an artist, but there are a lucky few, like Billie, who achieve stardom on their first attempt.
When the album was released, she wrote: “This album [means] the world to me, please take care of it.
And that’s not all…
His first EP, Don’t smile at me has gone all the way to fourteenth place and has already been awarded gold, a feat that many artists can only dream of receiving.
But, it’s safe to say, Billie is also famous for his image as it is for his music…
She doesn’t dress like a typical teenager, that’s for sure.
Billie is known for rocking some pretty wild scenes looks…
And she owns it!
And Billie don’t just experiment with fashion…
The star is no stranger to getting creative with her hair – opting for more looks and colors to suit her quirky aesthetic.
It started with silver locks.
If anything it was this look that became his trademark around 2017.
And who will ever forget that iconic color combo?
Billie made waves while working out neon green roots. No one ever could.
She has already talked about her style…
Her clothing choices — which mostly consist of loose, oversized clothes — are chosen to protect herself from her global audience who shame and judge her on her natural appearance.
Speaking in an interview a few years ago, Billie explained those choices…
“That’s why I wear loose clothes,” she says.
“No one can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can say “she is thin-thick”, “she is not thin-thick”, “she has a flat ass”, “she has a big ass”. Nobody can say anything because they don’t know.
But sadly, people have already tried to exploit and shame the teenager. Even when she was as young as fifteenonline trolls were trying to sexualize her for no apparent reason.
And it’s a harsh reality that young women in the spotlight are always targeted by older people.
Tell me if I understood correctly. Just because there’s a line in her song “nasty” that says, “bruises on both my knees for you”, is it okay now to start sexualizing her? I really don’t see the correlation here.
Billie has the right to write on no matter she wants…
There is no excuse for sexualizing a young woman… Or any woman of any age, for that matter. She was only seventeen when she started experiencing this kind of disrespect.
But, when discussing the subject, Billie has said in the past that she doesn’t want to stay covered forever.
“I’m going to be a woman. I want to show off my body,” Billie told Elle in a 2019 interview.
“What if I want to make a video where I want to look desirable?” she says.
But she understands the repercussions such a move could have. “I know that would be a huge thing,” she said in the interview, adding, “I know people will say, ‘I’ve lost all respect for her. “”
Well, in December 2019, the pop sensation turned eighteen.
And we have yet to notice any changes in her fashion sense and clothing choices.
Until…
Taking to Instagram, the “Bad Guy” singer decided it was time to post her first bikini pic…
Who knew this would cause an internet outage?
So many despicable human beings have exposed themselves in a simple, innocent photo of a girl and her friends on vacation. From body shaming to sexualization, people just couldn’t help but react to the photo.
Within hours, “Billie Eilish body” was trending on Twitter and horrible comments about her body started pouring in.
Many of them have since been removed after receiving backlash.
Billie posted a series of photos from a bit of a vacation she had in Hawaii.
Among the 10 posts, there were 2 videos/boomerangs. One showed the upper half of Eilish as she took a shower (with a bathing suit on) and the other was a post of her and her friend on a boat just staring at the water.
If she’s happy, leave her alone, right?

And now more Billie Eilish news has surfaced, as she recently addressed the unwarranted media attention regarding her body.
In Miami, before playing all the good girls go to hell, a video interlude popped up on screen, and what Billie had to say got a lot of fans rave about it.
“She wears diapers, people have problems, she wears less, people have problems. People are never happy. Ignore them. There is always someone with a problem,” one person wrote.
“It’s such a beautiful and powerful message done in such a beautiful artistic way, it really grabs your attention and reaches your soul, and it’s so great to have someone like Billie, who so many young people look up to and idolize. , to send such a powerful message in just 3 minutes and 40 seconds to over 35 million people,” said another.
“You have opinions,” her video began, “about my opinion, about my music, about my clothes, about my body.”
She could then be seen taking off her clothes. “Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it, some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me, but I feel you watching, always, and nothing I do don’t go unnoticed.”
She continued, “The body I was born with, isn’t that what you wanted? If what I’m wearing is comfortable, I’m not a woman.
“If I get rid of diapers, I’m a bitch… If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What does that mean? Is my value based solely on your perception? »
She finished the short film: “Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”
