“A lot of people haven’t been able to see the show just because that’s how it works, and I’m so excited to give people that,” she explained in a clip shared exclusively with Billboard. “The shows that I couldn’t see when I was younger, couldn’t afford them or just didn’t get the chance, the idea that I going to see them shoot professionally in a theater would have been my absolute dream.

Eilish added, “My show is such an important part of me. My live performance, for me, is one of the most important parts of me as an artist, and the idea that there are people who know me as an artist and don’t know me as straight up freaks me out. But for me, my show and just touring is…an extension of me as an artist. I kind of like to be known primarily for my show and not like, “Oh, this show is amazing.” Just acting is the thing I’ve wanted to do more than anything else in my life and it’s the thing I give the most, I think. It’s so important to me and I want people to have that.

Eilish’s upcoming Apple Music concert, which airs here at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on Friday, was filmed during one of her five stops at London’s famous O2 Arena earlier this summer during the European leg of the tour. Coinciding with the livestream, it will also wrap up the trek with a final show at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

Lowe’s interview with Billie Eilish airs in its entirety Friday morning (September 30) at 10:00 a.m. PT on Apple Music 1 here.
