Billie Eilish had a big weekend during the first round of Coachella 2024 shows, joining Lana Del Rey on stage during his headlining set and previewing some songs from his next album, Hit me hard and softat a surprise party.

Eilish joined Del Rey as a guest on stage during her headlining set on Friday night (April 12), where the duo not only performed Lana’s song “Video Games” but also one of her own songs by Eilish “Ocean Eyes” from her debut EP. Don’t smile at me. The “A&W” singer praised the “Bad Guy” hitmaker after their duet.

“She’s the voice of our generation, the voice of your generation, and I’m so grateful that she’s standing next to me right now singing my favorite song,” she said.

Eilish kept the good vibes going the following night with a surprise party with The Do LaB at Coachella on Saturday (April 13), where she previewed three songs from the soon-to-be-released album, according to UPROXX.

One song seemed to get the most attention online, with many fans expressing their enthusiasm for the steamy track and at least a fan on X (Previously Twitter) calling it “the gay anthem of the year”. In the song, Eilish sings: “I could eat this girl for lunch/Yeah, she dances on my tongue/Looks like she could be the one/And I can’t get enough/I could buy you so much stuff/It’s a desire.” , not a crush.”

Surprise parties and events like this might be the only time fans get to hear Eilish’s new music before the release of her third studio album next month. When announcing Hit me hard and softEilish revealed that she wasn’t going to release any singles ahead of time because she wants fans to experience the album in its entirety.

Eilish teams up again with her brother and collaborator FINNISHED on this highly anticipated project. According to a press release, the album “hits you hard and soft, both lyrically and sonically, while blending genres and defying trends along the way.”

In her social media announcement, Eilish wrote: “Finneas and I seriously couldn’t be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. I love you, I love you, I love you love.”
