Reading and Leeds festivals have announced their 2023 lineup, with Sam Fender, Foals and Imagine Dragons joining Billie Eilish, The Killers and Lewis Capaldi as headliners.
The headliner will make Eilish, 20, the youngest solo artist to headline the festivals.
She performed there in 2019, drawing one of the biggest crowds the festival has ever seen.
Tickets for the three-day sister events, which run August 25-27, go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday, with further acts to be announced.
The Colts return to headlining for the first time since 2016, with frontman Yannis Philippakis saying he is “so excited”.
He added: “We will never forget the rush to headline Leeds in absolute pouring rain in 2016, a show that was one of our most intense ever, or in 2008 at Reading feeling possessed, climbing onto the rigging and throwing myself headfirst into the crowd.
“We’ve always had an amazing, wild time playing here, one of the biggest festivals in the world.”
Brit Award-winning Fender said he first went to the Leeds Festival as a teenager: “We had a crazy time, a rite of passage. ‘attach.
“I’m so excited, it’s gonna be fucking intergalactic! See you in front.”
Scottish singer-songwriter Capaldi, whose second album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is due out next year, is making his headlining debut at the festival.
He said he was “so, so excited” to be on the poster.
“Unbelievable that the last time I played was in front of a small crowd in 2018. Can’t wait to see you all next year.
The lineup also includes indie and rock bands Wet Leg, Declan McKenna and Inhaler alongside rappers Slowthai, Tion Wayne, Trippie Redd and Central Cee.
Dance music will be there with Becky Hill, Bicep Live and MK.
Elsewhere there will be sets from Scottish rockers The Snuts, drum and bass band Shy FX and chart-topping band You Me At Six.
Melvin Benn, managing director of organizers Festival Republic, said they were “delighted” to return with “an incredible, genre-defying lineup that includes some of the best in modern music”.
“Once again Reading & Leeds is set to be the ultimate Bank Holiday festival weekend – we can’t wait to be back!”
The three-day festivals return to their usual venues – Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park in Leeds.
